Yarmouth (YAR - m) is a town in Barnstable County, which cooperates with Cape Cod. It is one of the Cape Towns, which extend from CapeCod Bay in the north to the peninsula south of Nantucket Sound and borders on the Bay of Fundy to the east, Cape Hatteras Bay to the west and South Boston Bay to the south. Yarmouk borders the capital Boston and the city of Cape Breton, Massachusetts.

Yarmouth (YAR - m) is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, USA with a population of about 1,000 people.

The nearest MBTA suburban train stations are Kingston and Route 3 in Middleborough and Lakeville, which offer direct service to Boston. Freight traffic is handled via US Route 6, where the waste handling station is located. There are no other state roads that cross these three roads, as all the traverse routes are local roads.

It features a gazebo overlooking Nantucket Sound and a swing, and has access to Long Pond Forest on the west side of the city and to nearby Long Island Sound. It has an open-air park with picnic area, golf course, outdoor swimming pool and tennis court, two tennis courts and two golf courses.

Most beaches require you to have behaved at a picnic table, but not all beaches. Not to be confused with Little Sandy Pond, which is further down Buck Island Road and has access to the Long Pond Forest in the west of the city and the nearby Long Island Sound.

Visitors can learn about pirates who have lost their lives in some of the worst shipwrecks on the Cape Coast and visit the historic sites they have been there for. If you want to play a short round of golf, you should visit the three different nine-hole courses at Yarmouth Golf Club and South Beach Club. Enjoy a round of mini golf or visit one of the two golf courses in Bayview Beach Park and Bay View Park.

When the mill is not open, interested visitors can park at the Swan and Herring Run and visit one of Yarmouth's other historic sites, such as the Olde Cape Cod Museum. Immerse yourself in the history of YARMOUTH on a walk along the Oldecape Cod Discovery Trail, which allows guests to walk or ride the waterways of CapeCod on a self-guided tour. It is definitely worth trying and you can sit and enjoy the view of Nantucket Sound while enjoying the ocean view from the beach at Bayview Beach Park and Bay View Park, of course in fine weather.

Yarmouth has five public schools in the city and is home to a number of private schools as well as a community college. At the college level, Cape Cod Community College offers a wide range of continuing education programs for high school and college students. Students living in Yarmuthouth can also visit the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.

Yarmouth is governed by an open city government, led by a city administrator and a selection committee. Nationally, it is part of Massachusetts' 9th Congressional District and is currently represented by William R. Keating. It is also represented in the U.S. House of Representatives by Republican David Cicilline, D-Rhode Island, and in the Massachusetts Senate by Senator Elizabeth Warren, R-Massachusetts.
